Member login

Can a member login be built with Textpattern -> user create a login account ?

Yes, with a plugin or two. Choose from:

  • mck_login (or the fork by Gocom). Handles registration and login/logout.
  • cbe_frontauth. Handles login/logout only but has companion plugins for other functionality.
  • rvm_privileged for taking action depending if user is logged in or not (cbe_frontauth has an equivalent built in).
  • smd_bio for creating custom user fields.

Other support plugins exist (e.g. there’s smd_user_manager for custom privilege management, but it’s in dire need of a polish for later versions of Textpattern).
