Re: tom_image_grid : Grid UI for images tab

I meant using CSS width. D’oh! (amended)

Textpattern use Thumbnail in Image List too.
If you want a preview of your images in images List Tab, You Need create Thumnails.

Re: tom_image_grid : Grid UI for images tab

v.0.3 is out.

Small update :
  • compatibility with bot_image_upload plugin
  • add a visual grey bloc if a image doesn’t have thumbnail

bot_img_upload iframe gain much usability with grid view, specially on small screens (notebooks etc).

Re: tom_image_grid : Grid UI for images tab

v.0.4 is out

Just a update of CSS for Textpattern 4.6 compatibility.
v0.4 is for Textpattern 4.6 only.

For Textpattern 4.5.*, please use v0.3

Re: tom_image_grid : Grid UI for images tab

Am I the only one who has problems with tom_image_grid and smd_thumbnail on Txp 4.6? When tom_image_grid is active there is no smd_thumbnail > screenshot

Re: tom_image_grid : Grid UI for images tab

Doubt you’re the only one. My guess is that because the two plugins write to the same part of the screen, one clobbers the other.

I can’t recall if it made it into 4.6.2 or not, but there was talk of being able to get plugins to be able to ‘append’ to what other plugins had done, instead of replacing it. If I can uncover the info I’ll post it here (or someone else might know offhand). Assuming it made it into core, one or both plugins may just need tweaking to be able to play nicely.

The two plugins plays nicely with Txp 4.5.7 … so I’ll stick with that version for the time being. But of course one day I want to move all of ‘my’ heavy portfolio sites to Txp 4.6.x … :)

Eek. Well we’d better figure out what needs changing either in the plugins or in core to get them to work together again.

That’s my guess too. If it’s not possible for several plugins to use the same pluggable-ui point at once, and assuming the clash only affects smd_thumbnail preferences and not the individual image edit pane, maybe make the smd_thumbnail preferences a separate plugin prefs/options item? I don’t think the prefs need to be on the image overview pane.
