Re: Forum Dark Mode support

Zebra strips on the site are now dark too, if you are using Dark Mode.

Thanks! Now less blinding in dark mode.

Btw, did you see that new icon in Safari’s developer tools, Elements tab. Next not the rulers icon, a new icon showed up that looks like and inverted window. Click and see what happens1

Ah that’s helpful for dev – a toggle within Safari tools. Thanks for the tip Philippe. 👍

Yes, it relies on OS support for Dark Mode.

Re: Forum Dark Mode support

My Windows 10 laptop with Firefox Dev Edition also supports Dark Mode. Standard Firefox 67 release will support it in about 4 weeks time.

Ah, that is good to know that Firefox manages to support the Windows 10 Dark mode OS setting. As far as I can tell, Safari and Firefox have identical behaviour on Mac.

Hopefully, Chromium will not play their usual not-invented-here troublemakers and just implement what the 2 other do, as drafted in spec(s).

(My win 10 laptop refuses to play along – actually it refuses to play along anything. I suspect it has evolved into an ugly paperweight or something)
