txp 4.7.1: Admin > Languages > Restricted area

Hi folks:

I don’t know when it has happened, but today I notice my new-user-welcome-emails arrives without text strings applied (for instance: “your_login_info
“ instead of “Your login info”, “your_login_is”, etc) then I have tried to access to admin > languages submenu to check text packs and that menu option is disappeared! It disappears only some times (¿?) but, anyway, when in appears and I click it (or trying to access via url /textpattern/index.php?event=lang) it only displays a “Restricted area” message.

I don’t know what could I do with the emails problem but, in the sort term, I ask you help about what can I do to fix the “restricted area” issue, which is probably related with the emails texts strings issue.

Thanks

Hi Jorge,

are you sure your account has Publisher privileges? Try to log out, clear the cache and log in again.

Yes, of course, I’m the “webmaster”! and other users with publisher profile had the same problem. Thanks.

Perhaps upgrading to the new 4.7.2… I’ll give it a try

UPDATE: I’ve upgrade the site to 4.7.2 but the problem persits.

Re: txp 4.7.1: Admin > Languages > Restricted area

I found what was causing the problem. If I deactivate smd_user_manager I can get access to Admin > Languages without problem.
